The Perth Wildcats will pay tribute to former owner and chairman Jack Bendat with a special embroided wordmark to feature on its jersey this round.
Dr Bendat sadly passed away last week at age 96.
The businessman and philanthropist saved the Wildcats from financial uncertainty in the late 2000s, before leading the club to six championships during his time as the club’s chairman.
The Perth Wildcats released this statement.
There will be a minute's silence in Dr Bendat's honour prior to tomorrow night's game against the South East Melbourne Phoenix at John Cain Arena.
