The Wildcats return from the FIBA break hunting their sixth win in a row after turning their season around, going from 2-5 to 7-5 to jump to fourth on the NBL ladder.
Webster felt both teams played a similar style of basketball and expected it to be a tough game full of personalities as Perth look to prove their championship credentials.
“It’s the biggest show in the city, isn’t it?” Webster told SENWA’s Scotty and Goss.
“I haven’t got to say much more than that.
“Sydney’s a great team and we’re playing some really good basketball right now and it’s going to be enjoyable, there’s going to be a lot of personalities out there on the court and it’s going to be a really tough game of basketball, for sure.
“We’ve both got really similar styles and it’s going to be interesting to see which one prevails.”
With the Kings winning the past two NBL titles, Webster sees the game as a test of how far the Wildcats have come this season.
“They still play at the same ferocious pace they have for the last couple of years, they get up a lot of threes in transition and stuff like that, and they’re a lot like us,” Webster said.
“They like to use their athleticism to get up and down the court.
“They’ve been playing that style for a while now, so it’s kind of much the same thing, btu they’re probably the best at it.
“They’re the defending champs and you don’t get to be the best until you beat the best, we’re definitely ready to play them and looking forward to that.”
