The Perth Wildcats have showcased its scoring depth in a bounce-back 102-90 win over the Brisbane Bullets at Nissan Arena.
Todd Blanchfield had his best game as a Wildcat, scoring a season-high 31 points on five-of-nine shooting from long range.
He had seven rebounds on top of that, plus three assists and a highlight reel slam.
It’s the third time in his career he’s had a 30-piece.
“It’s fantastic, he’s one hell of a talent and we love when he’s aggressive at the offensive end,” said teammate Mitch Norton.
“He’s a lot more than just a shooter. He can attack the paint and defensively he’s been really good for us this year, helping out on rebounds.
“His communication has been great as well, I love having him here.”
Norton also had his best offensive game of the year, with a career-high 24 points plus eight rebounds.
Bryce Cotton had 24 on four triples while John Mooney contributed 11, five rebounds and five assists.
The Wildcats trailed the Bullets by seven points approaching three-quarter time, but a blistering fourth quarter saw Brisbane leads evaporate quickly.
Perth piled on 41 in the final stanza, which is the most by any team in a single quarter this season.
It's the most the Wildcats have scored in a 10-minute quarter in its history.
They now head north for a battle against the Cairns Taipans on Monday.
Perth Wildcats 102 (Blanchfield 31, Norton 24, Cotton 24)
Brisbane Bullets 90 (Sobey 24, Cadee 14, Drmic)
