UPDATED 10.15AM WEDNESDAY 19 MAY: Todd Blanchfield will miss tonight’s game against Brisbane with knee soreness.
Jarred Bairstow comes back into the team.
ORIGINAL: The Perth Wildcats will look to make it three away wins in five days, when it completes its three-game Queensland mini-tour on Wednesday night.
Perth return to Brisbane’s Nissan Arena to meet the Bullets for the second time in that stretch.
On Saturday, the Wildcats put on a history-making fourth quarter to come away with the 102-90 win
The reigning champions piled on 41 points in the final stanza, the most of any team this season in a single quarter, on the back of 12 from 15 field goal shooting, including seven out of seven three-point shooting.
Three players scored double figures in that final quarter - Todd Blanchfield (15), Mitch Norton (11) and Bryce Cotton (11).
It was Perth’s highest scoring quarter in any 40-minute game (387 played).
The night also saw Mitch Norton come away with a career-high points (24) and Todd Blanchfield a season-high 31.
Before last week, Brisbane were a perfect 10 from 10 in games they had led at three-quarter time but that record ended when leading the Wildcats by 5-points (66-61) at the final change.
Five points set a new season-best three quarter time comeback for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats have been tough away from home this year, winning a franchise-best 14 games outside of WA, and counting.
The previous best was 12, including finals, which they managed in 1991, 1995 and 2000.
A win on Wednesday will see the Wildcats lock in top-two and home court advantage in the semi-finals.
Tip-off is at 5.30pm WA time on ESPN and SBS On Demand.
