The Perth Wildcats are excited to welcome Colonial Brewing Company to the club’s family of partners. Our very own brewery from Margaret River, Colonial Brewing Co. has signed on as the club’s Official Beer and Cider Partner for the next two seasons.
As a proud Western Australian brand, tapping its first keg in Margaret River in 2004, Colonial Brewing Co’s focus has always been on their local community, producing beer by locals, for locals. A virtue shared by WA’s very own Perth Wildcats.
“Colonial Brewing Company is a fantastic Western Australian brand that thrives on both innovation and an uncomplicated philosophy that puts their customer and wider community first," said Lachlan Smith, national sponsorship director from the Perth Wildcats new ownership group, SEN.
“There are some really strong synergies between the two brands, and all at the Perth Wildcats are really excited to have the Colonial Brewing Company join our family of partners.”
Colonial Brewing Company managing dorector Lawrence Dowd shares Smith's passion.
"We are really excited to partner with the Perth Wildcats, a team that represents a shared heritage in Western Australia. Australian sport is a big part of who we are as a brand, we are thrilled to be sharing this experience with a like-minded team in the Perth Wildcats," he said.
"As a wholly independent Australian Owned business, sport has always been a fundamental part of the CBCo identity, from a professional level, down to community sport. Perth Wildcats are at the forefront of not only the local community, but basketball in Australia and creating positive difference in communities through sport.
"After a tough year for many, we are really excited to get into the stadium amongst the Perth Wildcats members and fans to cheer them on. "
Perth Wildcats corporate hospitality locations will feature a number of Colonial Brewing Co. products as well at our Most Valuable Player (MVP) Ball.
