Perth Wildcats superstar duo Bryce Cotton and Vic Law have been named in the 2022 All-NBL First Team at the 2022 Andrew Gaze MVP Awards
It’s the fourth-consecutive season with two Wildcats players in the prestigious all-star line-up.
Bryce Cotton was outstanding again in 2021/22, averaging a league-leading 22.7 points per game.
It’s his highest scoring 28-game regular season, where he sunk a franchise record and league-high 88 three-pointers.
He was also top-10 in the league in steals with 1.5 per game and assists with 4.9 per game.
It's incredibly Cotton's fifth-straight season being named in the All-NBL First Team.
In his first season with the Perth Wildcats, Vic Law averaged 20.3 points and 8.2 rebounds, joining Sydney’s Josh Childress as the only players to average above 20 and eight since 2010.
He scored a season-high 39 points back in March against the NZ Breakers.
Bryce Cotton and Vic Law become the first Wildcats teammates since James Crawford and Scott Fisher in 1993 to both average over 20 points per game.
Cotton was a finalist to win his third consecutive NBL MVP Award, but was edged out in the voting by Sydney’s Jalen Adams.
Wildcats young gun Luke Travers was a finalist for Rookie of the Year, but came runner-up to Cairns Bul Kuol.
Congratulations to all Andrew Gaze MVP Award winners.
