Development Player Expressions of Interest

The Development Player pathway provides inspiring young talent with incredible opportunities and experience within the league.

With NBL23 fast approaching, the Perth Wildcats are on the lookout for aspiring players to be a part of their Development squad for the upcoming season.

Trials will be held in the coming months and the Wildcats are opening up applications to athletes who fit any of the criteria below;

• Born after 30 April 1998 (essential requirement)
• Are currently involved in an NBL1 (or equivalent state league) or NZNBL program
• Have represented their state at a National Junior Championships (U16/18/20)
• Have played basketball at the collegiate level in the USA or Canada

If you fit the criteria above and would like to apply to attend the trials, please email luke@wildcats.com.au with a brief playing career history and a basketball reference (such as a former coach or someone close to you).

Please note that only successful applicants will receive notice of trial dates. If you don’t fit the above criteria you will not be considered for a spot in the trials.
