Ex-Wildcat Travers signs two-way deal with Cavs

The 22-year-old from Rockingham spent four seasons at the Wildcats and was originally drafted by the Cavs with pick 56 in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Signing as a Wildcats development player in 2019, the talented shooting guard was elevated to the main roster for the 2021-22 NBL season.
He was also part of the club’s championship in 2020.
The first Perth-born basketballer drafted to the NBA, Travers spent two past two NBL seasons with Melbourne United.
He joins fellow ex-Wildcat Alex Sarr in the NBA after the athletic French Next Star was taken by Washington Wizards with pick two in this year’s NBA Draft in June.
