The Perth Wildcats are excited to announce a new partnership with Australia’s biggest and most respected tyre retailer, Tyrepower.
Building on their existing partnership, Tyrepower will be proudly sponsoring the return of halftime junior basketball at Perth Wildcats home games
“Halftime Heroes” will see junior ballers take to the RAC Arena court and give hundreds of WA kids the opportunity to strut their stuff in front of thousands of fans.
As part of the new alignment, Tyrepower will also be promoting junior and grassroots basketball participation, with community engagement being at the heart of the partnership.
They will engage local junior basketball clubs and assist with key issues including health, inclusion, socialisation, community support and ensuring good behaviour is prioritised at all levels of the game.
“We are thrilled to be uniting with one of Australia’s most recognisable and trusted tyre brands and have them sponsor halftime junior basketball games,” said Perth Wildcats CEO Troy Georgiu.
“Both Tyrepower and the Wildcats are dedicated to giving back to the community and providing opportunities for all West Australians to get involved with the game.
“Our commitment ensures we can continue to invest back into our sport to promote participation and growth at all levels of the game.”
Tyrepower’s Western Australian General manager Dale Klompmaker was equally thrilled with the enhanced partnership.
“The alliance will help make a positive difference to the enjoyment of junior basketball, which is loved, played and watched by so many of our customers and of course fans of the Perth Wildcats.”
There will be 28 very eager local junior clubs taking part in Halftime Heroes throughout the 2021/22 NBL Season.
