Harris recognised for strong NBL1 West campaign

Harris was selected in the All-NBL1 West First Team after an impressive campaign with Warwick Senators.

The 24-year-old, who is preparing for his third season as a Wildcat, averaged 27.35 points, 6.65 rebounds, 5.35 assists and 1.7 steals per game.

Only Mandurah Magic star Joel Murray, who won the competition’s MVP award on Saturday night, averaged more points than Harris with 34.32.

He scored 20-plus points in 17 of his 20 appearances including two 42-point games against East Perth and Perry Lakes respectively.

It comes after fellow Wildcat David Okwera, who lined up for the Eagles, was picked in the NBL1 West All-Defensive Team.

Former Wildcats captain turned Senators head coach Brad Robbins was named Women’s Coach of the Year in his inaugural season in charge.
