Hayes-Brown dominant in NBL1 West win

Perth Wildcats big man Ollie Hayes-Brown was dominant in Willetton’s 13-point win over Lakeside in the NBL1 West at the weekend.
Fresh from having his position on the Wildcats 2022/23 roster confirmed, the development player came away with 24 points, 18 rebounds, two steals and a block.
The Tigers are now 4-4 for the season.
Hayes-Brown’s Wildcats teammate Kyle Zunic continues to impress for the Warwick Senators in their two Round 7 wins.
The young guard had 24 points, nine rebounds and four steals against Perry Lakes, before adding 12 points, six assists, four rebounds and a steal in the win over the Eastern Suns.
Warwick are second in the standings.
Heading east, Todd Blanchfield had eight points and 12 rebounds as the Rockhampton Rockets defeated Brisbane, while Mitch Clarke had five steals to go with his eight points in Bendigo’s win over the Diamond Valley.
