The home-grown WA young gun was among 106-player early entry list for the draft, to be held at Brooklyn Center in New York on June 25-26.
It comes after a breakout second NBL season from the 20-year-old guard, who increased in every statistical category from his debut campaign.
Henshall started in 28 of his 32 appearances in NBL25, averaging 23:30 minutes per game last season including nearly 29 during finals.
The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced today that 106 players have filed as early entry candidates for NBA Draft 2025 presented by State Farm, which will be held Wednesday, June 25 (First Round) and Thursday June 26 (Second Round) at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New… pic.twitter.com/e4mr12UrBa

He more than tripled his points per game from 3.1 to 9.8, had an increased field-goal percentage of 42.2 (up from 34.8 per cent), with his rebounding (1.3 to 3.4 per game) and assists (0.8 to 2.6 per game) also improving.
Henshall’s eye-catching campaign saw him became a regular in 2025 NBA Draft boards around the world as he looks to realise his NBA dreams.
He flew to the US in early April and plans to remain there until the draft.
The Wildcats’ Spanish Next Star Almansa is another name to watch for the draft in late June.
The 19-year-old played 33 games in NBL25 and put up some good numbers, impressing at both ends of the floor with 6.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while shooting at 51 per cent from the field.
The pair will be looking to join fellow Wildcats products Alex Sarr (Washington Wizards) and Luke Travers (Cleveland Cavaliers) into the NBA.
