Reaction
Scott Morrison on the tough matchup
“I’ve got to give New Zealand a lot of credit, they picked us apart to start the game, they’re a really good team. They destroyed our pick and roll defence, they did it last week too. Lucky for us we’re able to hit some tough shots and make some small adjustments that helped us a little bit.”
Majok Majok on rebounding differential
“At the beginning of the season it was one of those things we weren’t very good at, so we made it a collective thing to make sure we rebound the ball, so every time now we’ve just got to make sure we do that.”
Player focus
Vic Law had his seventh double-double of the season to go with a team-high 26 points and 12 rebounds. Majok Majok was important with nine points and 12 rebounds, while Bryce Cotton was amazing again with 25 points, six assists and five rebounds.
