An MRI taken confirmed the strain. An additional review has since revealed that he is making positive progress.
Sarr will be re-evaluated next week prior to our game on January 13 against the South East Melbourne Phoenix at RAC Arena, with a 2-3 week timeline for his return.
Corey Webster will also miss Sunday's clash against the New Zealand Breakers in Auckland with ankle soreness, with Michael Harris replacing him and fellow DP also Jack Andrew coming into the line-up.
