Ahead of his first season at the helm, Perth Wildcats head coach John Rillie will share insight into his successful coaching style at the second annual Coach the Coaches Clinic.

This is an exciting opportunity for grassroots and youth basketball coaches of all levels to learn valuable lessons and engage directly with Coach Rillie and his Wildcats staff.

The evening, to be held at Bendat Basketball Centre, will feature opportunities to ask questions, as well as learn drills and view coaching demonstrations, and will be followed by a Coaches Social for networking.

Rillie will be joined by associate head coach Mike Kelly, assistant coach Luke Brennan and general manager of basketball operations Danny Mills.

Following the success of last year’s event, Mills is excited to bring it back for a consecutive year.

“We had a fantastic turnout of over 200 enthusiastic local coaches at last year’s Coach the Coaches Clinic, and we were provided with great feedback about the content, the openness of the staff and the networking session afterwards,” he said.

“With coaches who are experienced at the NBL, College and international level like John Rillie and Mike Kelly, these clinics are an awesome opportunity for coaches of all levels to come and learn from some of the best basketball minds in the country.”

The Coach the Coaches Clinic is a free event however, places are limited, and you must register here to secure your spot.
