Perth Wildcats vice-captain Mitch Norton will return from injury for Friday night’s New Year’s Eve clash with the Cairns Taipans.
Norton injured his knee at training in November and missed the entire NBL Blitz pre-season tournament and the Wildcats first five games of the regular season.
The point guard joins Matt Hodgson in the team, who returns after four games on the sidelines with a calf strain.
In 2021, Mitch Norton averaged 8.2 points and 3.6 assists per game, playing the entire finals series with a groin injury which required post-season surgery.
