Saturday's win over Melbourne United puts Perth Wildcats head coach Trevor Gleeson into an elite group of NBL coaches.

The result saw Gleeson clock up win number 250 - a milestone only six NBL coaches have reached.

The five-time championship winning coach is also the third-fastest to that milestone, taking 424 NBL games.

Gleeson recently set the record for most-games coached at the Perth Wildcats, overtaking Alan Black.
