Perth Wildcats point guard Mitch Norton will play his 250th NBL game on Sunday, at RAC Arena.
Norton has amassed the total despite only recently celebrating his 28th birthday.
He started his career as a teenager at the Townsville Crocodiles in 2011, before moving south to the Illawarra Hawks in 2016.
The Wildcats signed him in 2018, and he went on to win back-to-back titles in his first years at the club.
With the retirement of Damian Martin, Norton has moved into the starting point guard positon for the Wildcats this season, resulting in arguably his career-best year thus far.
Throughout his nine seasons, Norton averages 7.3 points, 2.6 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game.
In 2021, he’s boosted that to 7.5 points, 3.9 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game.
Congratulations Mitch Norton!
