Earning a spot in the starting five after a brilliant game-one performance, Pepper didn’t disappoint on the way to 13 points, five rebounds and a team-high seven assists.
It was another remarkable finish, with the two teams tied on 95-apiece as Australia won to two-game Nissay Cup series in Japan 1-0.
Fellow Wildcats guard Ben Henshall also did his bit, finishing with eight points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal.
It comes after both Pepper and Henshall were among the Boomers’ best in the one-point series-opening win on Saturday.
Our guys, doing Australia proud. 💛💚
