SPORTS Entertainment Network (SEN) today announced they will undertake an extensive search process to appoint a new executive leader of the Perth Wildcats, parting ways with Troy Georgiu.
SEN wishes to thank Georgiu for his longstanding tenure with the Wildcats and for his services as CEO, a role he held since 2017.
A major focus for the new executive leader will be the continued growth of the Wildcats brand, while further integrating and aligning the organisation within the SEN Network.
“I would like to thank Troy for his 20 years of service, we wish him well in his future endeavours," said SEN Chief Executive Officer Craig Hutchison.
"We will now look to appoint the best possible candidate to ensure we remain the envy of not only the NBL, but all sporting organisations across the country.
“I am extremely confident this role will be a highly sought-after position given our standing as an iconic and highly regarded organisation. While there will always be a significant focus on the Wildcats, we believe there is an exciting opportunity to further integrate the club into the overall SEN business, maximising our unique advantage and reach as a media and entertainment organisation.”
