Father’s Day arrived a week early for the Red Army, with our annual Shoot Hoops with Dad event taking place on Sunday at Bendat Basketball Centre.
The Perth Wildcats joined 35 dads and 45 kids for skills sessions, games and a BBQ sausage sizzle in the sun.
Trevor Gleeson, Bryce Cotton, Jesse Wagstaff, Mitch Norton, Clint Steindl, Majok Majok, Wani Swaka Lo Buluk and Luke Travers put the father/child pairs through their paces in a variety of basketball circuits including dribbling, ball handling, passing and shooting techniques.
Following the indoor activities, the group played Leader Ball in the park, with Trevor Gleeson’s team taking out the First Place title.
Many thanks to all who attended, we wish our Red Army dads a very happy Father's Day!
