The 23-year-old suited up for all three games of the 2020 NBL Grand Final, earning an NBL championship ring in his first season.
Following the season, the New Zealander returned home to play in the NZ NBL Showdown, where he had a breakout campaign.
Representing his hometown Canterbury Rams, the crafty guard averaged 19.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game and was a finalist for the competition’s MVP.
The @CanterburyRams fell short but Taylor Britt managed a game-high 31 points, 4 boards and 3 steals. 👏 https://t.co/VlP0Cb2gvf

“We’re really happy Taylor is coming back, he’s had a very impressive season in New Zealand where he’s built on what he did with us last year. He’s got a great potential and now we’ve got to bring that potential out,” said Wildcats coach Trevor Gleeson.
“Taylor has the ability to be a senior NBL player. Now he’s just got to put the work in and be dedicated and focus in on what he has to improve on.
“We always like to have three point guards on the team, and now we’ve got Mitch (Norton), Kevie (White) and Taylor, so it gives us great versatility in that area.”
Britt said he’s excited to be returning to Perth.
“It’s a great opportunity to be a part of something special,” he said.
“I learnt a lot last season and my focus is on getting better, and the team environment at the Wildcats is the perfect place to do it.
“I’m looking forward to getting back to Perth and doing what I can to help the team win.”
Taylor Britt joins Luke Travers as a development player for the upcoming season.
