The Perth Wildcats thank David Duke Jr for his contribution to the club following confirmation the American guard has signed with Pallacanestro Varese in Italy.
Duke Jr joined the Wildcats during the NBL26 season and quickly made his presence felt with his ability to influence the game at both ends of the floor.
Across 19 appearances for Perth, Duke Jr averaged 12.2 points, 3.3 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game, while regularly taking on the defensive assignment against some of the competition’s most dangerous perimeter players.
His season was interrupted by an elbow injury in late December, but Duke Jr remained committed throughout his rehabilitation and returned to the court for the closing stages of the regular season and Perth’s finals campaign.
Following his time with the Wildcats, Duke Jr completed the season with BAXI Manresa in Spain and will now continue his career with Varese.
The Wildcats thank David for his contribution and professionalism during his time in Perth and wish him all the best for the next chapter of his career.
