Todd Blanchfield sidelined

Perth Wildcats wing Todd Blanchfield has today undergone successful surgery to repair damaged cartilage in his left knee.

Blanchfield experienced inflammation in the joint following an on-court workout last week.

He underwent scans and, after review from Perth Wildcats medical staff, the decision was made to repair the injury surgically.

The 29-year-old is expected to be sidelined for three to four months.
