Summary
The Perth Wildcats have won and absolute thriller in The Jungle, sealed by a Corey Webster three in his 250th game. It was a tough game, with the score going back and forth throughout. Wildcats started hot, taking the lead at the first break. Melbourne stepped it up a notch and closed the gap in the second. After An impressive second half from Melbourne, The Wildcats were on the back foot with only minutes remaining. A clutch three-pointer from Todd Blanchfield had the home side down just 2 points with just seconds on the clock. Blanchfield then found Webster outside the arc, who nailed another triple to put Wildcats up by 1 as the final buzzer went. In incredible fight to the very end by Perth, one the Red Army is not likely to forget any time soon!

Corey webster shared his thoughts after the game.
“It was an amazing grind-out win for the team,” he said.
“Coming into this one we felt like we hadn’t given Melbourne our best shot, and we owed them one.
“It feels good now that we’ve got some rhythm, we’ve had some wins on the trot, and to keep focused and play all the way to the end, it’s good signs for us.”
