Wildcats games  postponed

The Perth Wildcats Tuesday 28 December clash with the Adelaide 36ers, and it's 1 January game against the Brisbane Bullets have both been postponed.

The Wildcats departed Perth for six weeks of away games on Monday.

The NBL released the below statement.

NBL SCHEDULE CHANGES
 
The Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) has made changes to the schedule in line with its Covid health and safety protocols and respective state government close contact requirements.
 
The following games must be postponed:
 
Adelaide V Perth, Dec 28, Adelaide Entertainment Centre
Brisbane V Perth, Jan 1, Nissan Arena
Adelaide V South East Melbourne, Jan 2, Adelaide Entertainment Centre
 
The health and safety of the players, coaches, clubs, staff and fans is the League’s number one priority when considering these matters.
 
The NBL will continue to follow the advice of governments and health authorities. 
 
Regular testing of all players and staff will continue, while further testing will be carried out on individuals impacted or those deemed close contacts.
 
The schedule will be updated with rescheduled games in the coming days.
