Summary
The Perth Wildcats have broken their five-game losing streak and return to the winners list. After a tough run and plenty of criticism, Perth started this game hot and remained in contention throughout. After a quiet three quarters from Bryce Cotton, he came out in full force in the fourth with four triples. Brady Manek starred, shooting the lights out and finishing with six three-pointers. Corey Webster managed an impressive 18 points, while TaShawn Thomas finished with an equal game-high 9 rebounds. Robert Franks was Adelaide’s best, finishing with 24 points and 9 rebounds.
Reaction
John Rillie shares his thoughts after the win.
“We’ve got a good team and tonight we had multiple contributors,” he said.
“Everyone that came in did a great job, our bench was very productive.
“Disappointing how we have been playing but I always had the believe with these guys that it was going to come to fruition at some stage.”
Player focus
Brady Manek was outstanding, finishing with a career-high 25 points, including six three-pointers.
