The Perth Wildcats have received a significant boost ahead of the 2023/24 season, today announcing MATE as the club’s new Principal Partner.
MATE, an award winning internet provider throughout Australia, will form a strong partnership with the Wildcats on and off the court and be a great support throughout the upcoming seasons.
The partnership will be equally beneficial for MATE, including front and centre branding for MATE on the chest of the Wildcat jersey and other training apparel.
The two-year partnership will also provide significant awareness for MATE within the Western Australian market as they continue to expand throughout the state.
Richard Simkiss, Sports Entertainment Network CEO – Teams, said: “We couldn’t be more excited by this partnership and look forward to working with MATE throughout the upcoming seasons. They understand that the Wildcats are critical to the fabric of the WA sporting landscape. We look forward to helping them grow their profile in the West and appreciate the ongoing commitment.”
Mark Fazio, the CEO of MATE, expressed the following: "MATE is a brand that aims to cultivate passionate fans, and what better fans are there than those in the world of sports? We have been actively involved with the SEN community for quite some time now, and we are thrilled to expand our partnership to include the Perth Wildcats, an iconic team in the city. Through this collaboration, we aim to bring our internet and mobile services to this market in a more significant way, enabling them to experience the distinctive MATE difference as a service provider. Keep an eye out for exclusive offers from MATE to the Wildcats community, as well as our support for local activities."
Sam Kerr, a brand ambassador for MATE, expressed her thoughts on the partnership: "I am incredibly delighted to see my friends at MATE partnering with our local team, the Wildcats, as someone who hails from Perth, this means a lot.”
