Designed by Yilka (Wongutha)/Noongar/Yamatji local artist and school teacher Roseanne 'Rosie' Paine, the uniform will be proudly worn during the NBL's Indigenous Round in early November when the Wildcats take on Adelaide at RAC Arena on November 4.
Indigenous Round is one of the highlights of the NBL calendar, showcasing indigenous art and culture from around the country with each of the 10 teams wearing specially-designed uniforms.
The Wildcats have once again adopted the name ‘Djooditj’, which is the noongar term for Western Quoll, a rare native marsupial, similar to WA’s own native 'wildcat'.
Djooditj is displayed across the front of the jerseys.
Rosie was excited to see her art come to life on the jersey.
"It's amazing," she said.
"It's lovely to be able to see it on the jersey and just to see how it's come to life.
"I'm extremely proud, my whole family is, so it's a wonderful experience to be a part of designing the shirt."
Rosie explained her inspiration behind the design was about people coming together.

"I really thought about what basketball brings to the community and how it brings people together," she said.
"I know for myself, with our family, basketball has been a big part of our lives.
"Growing up, that was a thing that we did together as kids and I really wanted to symbolise people coming together for basketball from different parts of the State to really celebrate the Perth Wildcats and the work that they've done to bring the comnunity together for so long."
