Kristian Doolittle gave everything for Gigantes de Carolina in their playoff series against Vaqueros.
He opened with 17 points, 9 boards, 6 assists and 3 steals in Game 1, followed by 5 points and another 9 rebounds in Game 2. In Game 3, Doolittle went close to a double-double, dishing out a huge 13 assists to go with 12 points and 5 rebounds, proving his ability to contribute across the board even in tough battles.
Sunday Dech had a solid outing for the Knox Raiders in their victory over Nunawading, posting 10 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. His energy and defensive hustle continue to be huge assets for his squad.
One of the biggest storylines this week saw Wildcats teammates go head-to-head in NBL1 West, with Tom Gerovich and Willetton squaring off against Elijah Pepper, Todd Withers and the Warwick Senators in a hotly contested matchup.
Todd Withers stole the show for the Warwick Senators, earning player of the game honours with a huge 33 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks in a statement win over Willetton.
Elijah Pepper was also outstanding, adding 28 points, 8 rebounds, 11 assists, 3 steals and a block to help keep the Senators firmly in the hunt near the top of the NBL1 West ladder.
Tom Gerovich stepped up against Pepper and Withers, adding 11 points, 2 rebounds and a steal in a tough outing.
David Okwera kept the scoreboard ticking for the Franklin Bulls, finishing with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal and a block in a clash with the Canterbury Rams.
While the Bulls couldn’t get the win, Okwera’s impact on both ends of the floor continues to shine.
Lat Mayen turned in another strong performance with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal as West Adelaide claimed the win over Central Districts.
Cam Huefner dominated the glass with a double-double, finishing with 21 points, 12 rebounds and an assist, helping the Bearcats keep their momentum rolling.
Plenty of reasons for the Red Army to be excited as our Wildcats keep making noise anywhere they play.
