Wani Swaka Lo Buluk’s Warwick Senators climbed the standings in Round Five of the SBL’s West Coast Classic at the weekend.
With wins over Cockburn, who were missing fellow Wildcats Luke Travers, and the Perth Redbacks, the Senators are now second on the ladder.
Swaka Lo Buluk had 12 points and six points respectively.
Sitting in third position, and equal on points with Warwick, is the Lakeside Lightning – featuring brand new Wildcat, Andrew Ferguson.
In their one match of the round, the Lighting defeated the South West in a 62-61 thriller in Bunbury, with Ferguson’s 21 points and 11 rebounds the stat line of the night.
Finally, 2019/20 Wildcats development player Chuatwech Reath and the East Perth Eagles had a tough night in their loss to the Willetton Tigers.
The Eagles sit 11th on the table.
