Kristian Doolittle went large in his second game back in Puerto Rico.
Playing for Gigantes de Carolina, Doolittle starred with a game-high 28 points and team-high seven boards.
The Wildcats forward showcased his outside shooting with a perfect three of three from long-range in the 106-89 loss to Atleticos.
Elsewhere in Puerto Rico, superstar Bryce Cotton continued his hot form for Mets de Guaynabo in their 105-99 win over Osos de Manati.
Cotton scored 19 points - including five triples - to go with four rebounds and four assists as Mets made it three wins from as many starts.
In New Zealand, David Okwera posted his first double-double of season for Franklin Bulls.
Okwera was named player of the match for the second time in three games for the Bulls, amassing 10 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in a narrow loss to Hawkes Bay.
It came after a 20-point, seven-rebound and four-block performance in a win over NZ newcomers Indian Panthers a few days earlier.
Todd Withers had another strong outing for Otago as he makes the most of his three-game replacement player call-up.
Withers finished with 16 points and five rebounds in the Nuggets’ first win of the season against Hawkes Bay.
Hyrum Harris was also important in his team’s win over Nelson, amassing 17 points and eight rebounds to help Wildcats assistant Aaron Young get off the mark as Wellington head coach.
Youngster Dontae Russo-Nance had another good game for Manawatu Jets, hitting 14 points to go with four assists and two steals in a win over the Panthers.
Big man Keanu Pinder helped his Chinese outfit Shanxi Loongs defeat Sichuan.
Pinder reeled in a team-high 12 boards to go with seven points in his third game in China.
Speedster Tai Webster had his first win in France, scoring nine points and had three assists as JL Bourg defeated Limoges 87-63.
