Today’s announcement from Premier Mark McGowan has provided welcomed clarity on the vaccination milestones needed in Western Australia for the Perth Wildcats season to proceed without interruption.
As a result, our strong message to the Red Army and the wider WA community is to get vaccinated. It’s the only way everyone can help to provide certainty around our fixtures this season.
Whether you’re a Wildcats fan, Lynx fan, Glory fan or Scorchers fan, we need everyone to roll up and get vaccinated, to roll up to a game!
We’re all on the same team here, and we’re thankful to all our fans and West Australians who are fully vaccinated.
It’s encouraging that when we do reach the 90 per cent milestone and open up the state, there are no current plans to limit capacities or enforce face masks at our home games. This should come as great news for the Red Army.
Our home crowd is our biggest advantage and together we can see it remain at full strength in 2021/22.
