Darwin Basketball Association
19 September 2022
Summary
Despite the loss of Mitch Norton to a groin injury following Saturday night’s game against Cairns, the Wildcats stepped up and displayed how deep and versatile the bench really is this season. In a quiet night for Bryce Cotton, Corey Webster top-scored for Perth, finishing with 16 points, Kyle Zunic managed 15 points, both coming off the bench and playing a crucial role for the team.
In a physical contest, aside from early in the first quarter, the Wildcats held the lead over Phoenix, a lead that spanned out to as much as 21 points at one stage throughout the game. Kyle Adnam top-scored for Phoenix with 16 points, while Alan Williams finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.\
