The Perth Wildcats are excited to announce the annual Pink Game will take place at RAC Arena on Thursday 24 November.
For the sixth consecutive season, the Wildcats have joined forces with local charity Breast Cancer Care WA to help raise awareness and much-needed funds for breast cancer victims, survivors and their families.
Players and coaches will wear one-off pink uniforms and polo shirts for the game.
The game-worn pink jerseys, warm-up tops and additional signed pink memorabilia will then be auctioned off for Breast Cancer Care WA.
Visit the Pink Game Hub and get involved in this great initiative by bidding on the auction items and donating to Breast Cancer Care WA for the chance to win one of three great prizes.
A range of Pink Game merchandise has also been released, with all net proceeds going to the charity. Shop now or at the game!
Fans will have the opportunity to get their faces painted, donation tins will be available throughout the game and the club encourages everyone to wear their best pink outfits, as Best Dressed will win a prize!
In honour of the cause, the Spalding game ball will feature customised pink branding, logos and channels, designed exclusively by Spalding for the Pink Game.
Crown Perth will be donating $500 per Wildcats free-throw and Retravision will donate $200 for every Wildcats three-pointer scored in the game to Breast Cancer Care WA.
Since its inception in 2017, the Perth Wildcats Pink Game has helped to raise over $189,000 for Breast Cancer Care WA.
Breast Cancer Care WA CEO and Executive Director Zoe McAlpine said the charity relies on events like the Pink Game to ensure they can continue to provide support to those in need.
“With each year, the Pink Game has grown to be a part our DNA as an organisation,” she said.
“Perth Wildcats, the Pink (Red!) Army and all of the game day sponsors come together as part of our family to help us raise vital funds and awareness that early detection of breast cancer provides the best chance of successful treatment.
“With no government funding, we rely on the support of events like the Stronger in Pink Game to ensure that our specialist breast care nurses, counsellors and support programs can be there for the 1,300+ individuals and families that we help each year.
“We can’t thank Perth Wildcats and Crown enough, and we can’t wait to see the Red Army turn pink and make some noise on Thursday 24th November.”
Tickets to the Pink Game, Perth Wildcats vs Adelaide 36ers, are available here.
