Keep up to date with what our Wildcats are up to this off-season and how they’re performing in leagues around the world.
Corey Webster:
As the Al Ahly continue their Basketball African League campaign, Webster continues to perform for the side.
In their first loss since joining the competition, Al Ahly went down to the lube Atlético Petroleos de Luanda by 1 point, with Webster finishing with 22 points, including 6 3PM, and 9 assists.
Hyrum Harris:
In their past three games, Hyrum Harris and the Hawke’s Bay Hawks have recorded two losses and one win, with Harris averaging 12.3 points, 9 rebounds and 2.6 blocks.
Harris is ranked second in the league in rebounds, averaging 11.4 boards, and fourth in blocks, averaging 1.3 blocks per game this the season.
Ben Henshall:
Ben Henshall has stuffed the stat sheet once again for the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence in the NBL1 East.
Playing against the Sutherland Sharks this weekend, Henshall recorded 25 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals in a 22-point win.
Michael Harris:
In the NZNBL, Michael Harris has been on a hot scoring streak over his last three games, recording 20+ points in each game as the Otago Nuggets remain undefeated for the season.
The Nuggets travelled north for a double-header against the Auckland Tuatara where Harris scored 21 points, including a dagger three in a close win, before scoring 25 points, including 5 3PM, against the Franklin Bulls.
This past weekend, the Nuggets defeated the Wellington Saints, with Harris scoring 21 points and 4 rebounds in the win.
Kyle Zunic:
Having returned from leave, Kyle Zunic has impressed in his first two games back on court with the Northside Wizards in the NBL1 North.
Zunic finished with 7 points and 9 assists in a win over the Red City Roar, before a 13-point and 2-steal effort in a loss to the Sunshine Coast Phoenix.
