Keep up to date with what our Wildcats are up to this off-season and how they’re performing in leagues around the world.
Corey Webster:
Al Ahly have reached the final series in the Basketball African League, defeating Rwanda in the quarter final last Saturday.
Webster came off the bench and finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in the sides 17-point win.
Webster and Al Ahly Basketball take on Stade Malien in the semi-final on Sunday 25 May at 2.30am WST.
Hyrum Harris:
Hyrum Harris and the Hawke’s Bay Hawks suffered a 16-point loss to the Nelson Giants on Sunday.
Harris scored 14 points at 100% from the field, going 4/4 from two and 2/2 from three.
Ben Henshall:
Ben Henshall has been dominant for the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence, with the team sitting atop the NBL1 East ladder, having only lost one game so far this season.
CoE beat Hornsby Ku Ring Gai by 50 points on Saturday, before a 6-point win over the Illawarra Hawks on Sunday.
Henshall posted 16 points in the side’s blow out win over the Hornsby Ku Ring Gai, before playing his best game of the season against the Hawks, finishing with 34 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals.
Michael Harris:
Michael Harris and the Otago Nuggets lost their first game of the season last Thursday, falling to Auckland Tuatara by 9 points.
Harris finished with the game with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals, extending his streak of 20+ point games to five.
Kyle Zunic:
Kyle Zunic and the Northside Wizards defeated the Ipswich Force by 9 points last Sunday.
Zunic put up a dominant 14 points, 5 rebounds, 15 assists and 5 steals in the win.
