The Perth Wildcats winning sstreak has come to an end, after they fell 68-83 to the Adelaide 36ers at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Saturday.
The 36ers started out on fire and won every quarter to come away with the victory.
Trevor Gleeson said it was disappointing.
"I'm not going to make excuses or blame anybody, Adelaide were by far the better team. They were playing harder, executing better, coached better, wanted it more than we did," he said.
"We seemed to be going through the motion which was disappointing on our part.
"They were hungry for it. We were sitting back, placid, really disappointed that we started the game down by 11 and then we fought back and get close, and then we broke down too many times, didn't make the extra pass, so really disappoinitng."
John Mooney was the Wildcats best with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Todd Blanchfield added 15
Jesse Wagstaff was solid with 11 points and six rebounds.
The Wildcats now head to Tasmania to take on The New Zewalnd Breakers on Tuesday evebing.
