Be there for the Wildcats night of nights!

The stage is set for the 2021 Perth Wildcats MVP Ball, as the Crown Towers Ballroom turns into Manhattan on Thursday 22 July.

The event is attended by Perth Wildcats players and coaches, past and present, as well as the club’s corporate partners, dignitaries, members of the media, and of course fans.

It’s one of the biggest nights on Perth’s social calendar, with over 1,200 guests stepping out to witness the crowning of the Gordon Ellis Medal for the Wildcats Most Valuable Player of the 2021 season.

A host of other awards will also be presented, including Best Defensive Player, Most Improved, the Eric Watterson Medal for Players’ Player, as well as the Coaches’ Award.

The event is also used to raise funds for the Perth Wildcats Community Program, which sees players commit to 350 hours of community engagement each year.

This is done through the Perth Wildcats MVP Ball Auction with over 340 items and experiences up for grabs, including a Toyota Yarris, a $10k IGA grocery package, Vibe Petroleum fuel for a year, an AFL Grand Final package, and much more.

This year, for the first time, MVP Ball attendees can also enter the “Sip and Sparkle” draw to win a $12,800 diamond, thanks to Soklich & Co.

To enter, guests will be invited to the Sip & Sparkle Champagne bar, where they will select one of 200 glasses of Champaign – each presented with a gemstone.

Entrants will then have their gemstone authenticated, and one lucky guest will have the 1.01 carat white round brilliant diamond in their possession!

This year’s Perth Wildcats MVP Ball is themed A Night In New York, with entertainment on the night including singer and pianist Veronica Bravo entertaining guests on entry with an Alicia Keys-inspired performance.

The night will then begin with the 18-piece Straight Ahead Big Band and singer Mark Underwood taking you straight to Broadway with four big show tunes.

Additional entertainment includes artist Joanne Colely placing the finishing touches on her unique Bryce Cotton portrait, as well as red carpet and photobooth opportunities and performances from the Knightcorp Dancers, while DJ Scooby will get the dancefloor going later in the evening.
