The proud Queenslander will be recognised for his enormous contribution to the sport, both as a player and later on as a coach.
Rillie, from Toowoomba, played 16 seasons and 481 games in the NBL, including a championship with Adelaide 36ers in 1998, the competition's Rookie of the Year award in 1995, Scoring Champion in 2003 and All-Star Team selection in 2004.
The sharpshooting guard also represented Australia at the highest level when he was part of the Boomers' 2004 Athens Olympic Games campaign.
After his decorated playing career came to an end, Rillie went down the coaching path which started with stints at Boise State University and University of California Santa Barbara.
He was also an assistant coach with the bronze medal-winning Boomers at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021 before getting appointed as head coach of the Wildcats in 2022, where he's been ever since.
"I'm looking forward to being inducted into the Hall of Fame this weekend," Rillie told Wildcats Media.
"Being honoured in this way is something I don’t take lightly, but I want to be able to keep contributing to a sport that I have great passion and love for."
