Context

The Perth Wildcats come into this round on the back of the FIBA break and will be raring to go. The team will be looking to re-capture the momentum from their last game, a win over Adelaide 36ers, and keep it rolling at RAC Arena. Currently sitting in seventh on the NBL ladder, the Wildcats take on the fourth-placed SEM Phoenix. In an extremely tight competition, both teams will be desperate for the win and it’s likely to be an exciting match-up.

“When the opposition has to take the ball out of the net, it allows us to get in a great defensive versus scrambling in transition.

Bryce Cotton finished with a game-high 27 points and 8 rebounds, while Luke Travers also impressed with 19 points coming off the bench. Mitch Creek was SEM’s best, finishing with 22 points and 6 rebounds.
