Energy and effort the keys to bouncing back, says milestone man Harris

Harris, who will play his 50th game as a Wildcat against his old team this weekend, hoped it was an "easy fix" to turn things around after Sunday's tough loss to ladder leaders Illawarra in Wollongong.
“I think our effort and our energy are things that we can control, so looking at that first and foremost,” Harris said.
“We haven’t really done a good job at the little things like hustle plays, jumping on the loose balls so I think that’s something we can look to fix.
“It’s an easy fix, it’s just energy and effort. It’s no Xs and Os.”
Energy and effort. 😤

Harris was honest in his reflection of Sunday's performance, but was looking forward to an improved display against a strong 36ers outfit.
“I think everyone after that game knows that they have to be better, individually and as a team,” he explained.
“You’d be silly to look at yourself after that game and think ‘I played perfectly’ or ‘I did my best’.
“I don’t think any one person did their best but it’s only one game, we can’t hang our heads on it.
“Championships aren’t won in December so I’m looking forward to our next challenge.”
Harris admits he wasn’t aware of his upcoming milestone until he was told on Monday.
Harris said while it was "cool" to get there at his fourth NBL club, a championship would be even better after tasting finals for the first time last season when the Wildcats reached the semi-finals.
“It’s cool (to reach 50 games) but it would be even cooler to win a championship, that’s the best,” he said.
