It was a back-and-forth game from the onset, with Perth leading by as much as 9 points throughout the game. Free-throws cost the visitors in a big way, finishing with just 22/40 at the line. Bryce Cotton managed an equal game-high 30 points, while Nathan Sobey was Brisbane’s best, finishing 30 points and 9 assists.
Reaction
John Rillie shared his thoughts on the game.
“Our offence wasn’t flowing like it has been,” he said.
"And then when you shoot free-throws the way we did tonight it just compounds it.
"Disapointing to get the opportunity to knock down a lot of free-throws, and 22 of 40, that's the game right there."
Player focus
Bryce Cotton finished with 30 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals, his fifth 30-point game of the season.
