Perth Wildcats star forward John Mooney praised the Red Army after the team’s first home game in nearly two months.
The game saw crowd limits increase from 50 to 75 per cent, allowing 10,000 fans into RAC Arena.
“To be honest, it’s one of the best environments I’ve ever played in,” said Mooney.
“The fans were rocking and everyone’s wearing red. It was awesome, the fans were great. We’re just excited we can have them back in the Arena.
“That’s our sixth man for sure…. Other than Jesse!”

The Wildcats still have 11 home games to play, which Mooney believes will be a significant advantage.
“After coming back from Melbourne, where fans were limited, to come here and have 75 per cent capacity, 10 thousand people, it’s awesome,” said Mooney.
“I think teams, they don’t like coming to Perth, from what I know.”
The Wildcats are next in action on Monday, taking on Adelaide at RAC Arena.
