The Australian-born former US college star scored a game-high 22 points, including five triples, to go with five rebounds in the 118-100 victory.
The 23-year-old was pleased with how he performed, showcasing his shooting from outside the arc to put his hand up for extended minutes in NBL25.
“My goal is to get out there and get minutes,” Pepper said post-match.
“I have to play my role, shoot when I’m open, play defence and do what I have to do to help the team to win. Shots were falling so that always feels great. It was just good to be out there and gelling with the guys.”
Fellow young guard Ben Henshall was another impressive performance, scoring 18 points, including four triples, to go with six rebounds.
Four-time NBL MVP Bryce Cotton picked up where he left off last season, amassing 19 points in as many minutes.
