The Perth Wildcats have been notified by the NBL of charges laid against centre Matt Hodgson by the Game Review Panel following Sunday’s game against the Sydney Kings.
The matter has been referred directly to the single-person NBL tribunal.
The Perth Wildcats pride itself on integrity and character and do not condone the actions that occurred during Sunday’s contest.
While out of character, Hodgson’s actions were not in line with the club’s core values or the type of behaviour it expects from its players and staff as role models in the community.
The club will continue to provide its full support to Matt throughout the tribunal process.
The tribunal will sit on Friday 4 February, at 10:30am WST.
