Summary
Perth Wildcats fought hard in front of their home fans, just falling short in the dying seconds. After a slightly slow start, the home side found their offensive groove in the form of Bryce Cotton, 27 points, Luke Travers, 19 points, and TaShawn Thomas, 14 points. Having held a lead of as much as 9 points throughout the game, SEM Phoenix would not go away, clawing their way to a 1-point victory. Mitch Creek was SEM’s best, finishing with 22 points and 6 rebounds, while Ryan Broekhoff managed 18 points and 5 rebounds.

“That was a good basketball game,” he said.
“It’s a game you expect to have if your aspirations are playoffs and better, they’re a good talented team and they really bought it tonight.
“We had moments where we were really good, like our last home game, we got the lead in the fourth quarter, we had great momentum with the crowd, we just didn’t quite execute down the stretch.

Bryce Cotton finished with a game-high 27 points and 8 assists. He is now leading the league in scoring, averaging 22.2 points per game.
