Elijah Pepper producing a stunning NBL1 West debut over the weekend, dropping a staggering 50 points for Warwick Senators.
The prolific guard led his new team to massive 117-79 victory over Lakeside, hitting nine triples in his 50-point haul to go with seven assists and seven rebounds in just under 34 minutes.
Todd Withers, back from a three-game stint in New Zealand, contributed 10 points and five rebounds.
Elsewhere in the NBL1 West, Wildcats Development Player Tom Gerovich impressed as Willetton got revenge on champions Mandurah Magic after last season’s heartbreaking grand final defeat.
Gerovich was one rebound shy of a double-double, finishing with 16 points, nine boards and three assists as the Tigers prevailed 95-81 on Friday night.
Hyrum Harris produced one of the best individual performances of the New Zealand Basketball League season, falling just short of a triple-double as Wellington edged past Manawatu Jets by a point.
Harris reeled in a staggering 17 rebounds to go with 17 points and nine assists to lead the Aaron Young-coached Saints to a thrilling 93-92 win.

Okwera had a team-high eight rebounds for the Bulls.
