Wildcats to kick off pre-season against NBL1 West select

The Wildcats take on NBL1 West Select on Friday 23 August and Sunday 25 August at Morley Recreation Centre and Lakeside Rec Centre respectively.
The Friday night clash, which is expected to be the first game for Wildcats recruits Izan Almansa and Elijah Pepper, starts at 7pm.
The Sunday afternoon match is on from 5pm.
Both games will include curtain-raisers involving the Rio Tinto Wildcats Academy at 5pm and 3pm respectively.

“We’re excited to kick off our pre-season in Perth in front of the WA basketball community and members of the Red Army,” Wildcats General Manager of Basketball Operations Danny Mills said.
“It’s a great opportunity to build for NBL25 on home soil and take our roster to a couple of strong WA basketball areas in East Perth and Lakeside and play against the best of the NBL1 West.
“We had some excellent attendances last year when we played in Warwick and Rockingham and we’re looking forward to getting some great support once again.
“The events will also feature our Rio Tinto Wildcats Academy players, who will take part in a couple of intra-squad curtain-raisers.”
