Perth Wildcats SKG Team Update

The Perth Wildcats announced today that development player Blake Nielsen underwent successful reconstruction surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee.
He will begin his rehabilitation process immediately and is expected to miss the entirety of the 2026-27 season.
Updates on his progress will be provided as appropriate.
Marley Sam has suffered a sprained ligament in his wrist and will miss the pre-season games in Western Australia whilst he rehabilitates the injury.
He will be re-evaluated in two weeks to determine the exact timeframe.
Sam will miss the U18 FIBA Asia Cup tournament to be held in India this month in which he was selected to represent Australia.
Updates on his progress will be provided as appropriate.
